Girard-Perregaux unleashes her most feminine (and summery) side with five limited editions of the series that she named Laureato Summer Edition.
The models in box of 38 and 34 mm of the Laureato Collection renewed in 2017 are the basis on which Girard-Perregaux is inspired to create five editions limited to 75 units each of the Laureato Summer Edition series . Blue, purple, yellow, pink and turquoise are the colors that make up the palette that is the only variation of these pieces compared to those released almost two years ago. The diameter of the boxes, the setting of diamonds and the colors used, make the Laureato Summer Edition some timepieces aimed exclusively at the female audience of Girard-Perregaux. While it is true that the five models preserve the essence of the Laureato, it is also true that the applied colors penalize in a certain way – something less in references with armis – the excellent versatility of the pieces in this collection. Although everything points to this is the intention of the manufacture of La Chaux-de-Fonds: create a female Laureato that get rid of that certain seriousness without losing the codes of this historic collection of the GP catalog.
Girard-Perregaux Laureato Summer Edition Blue 38
The steel case respects the 38 mm diameter with a height of 10.02 mm of the models presented in 2017. In fact, with the exception of the colors used in the sphere and in the rubber belts, the rest of the elements do not present any variation The three models that make up the Laureate Summer Edition in a 38 mm case incorporate a set of 56 brilliant-cut diamonds in the bezel, as did two of the twelve references presented in 2017.
Girard-Perregaux Laureato Summer Edition Purple 38
The caliber housed inside these three times is the GP03300 automatic winding and, oscillating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), delivers a power reserve of 46 hours. The indications are taken to the sphere correspond to the hour, minute and central seconds with date window by 3 o’clock. The tightness of the set is of an excellent 10 bars (100 meters).
Girard-Perregaux Laureate Summer Edition Yellow 38
Blue (infinity), purple (harmony) and yellow (light) – I must admit that as far as I’m concerned those “surnames” of the colors are available – they are the available options, each with a rubber strap of the same color as the dial or with steel bracelet.
Following the same principle as for the 38 mm box models, Girard-Perregaux takes the base launched in 2017 to create two new pieces of these new Laureato Summer Edition. Again, 34 mm in diameter and 7.75 in height for a steel case with bezel set with 56 brilliant cut diamonds.
Girard-Perregaux Laureato Summer Edition Turquoise 34
For these models, the tightness of the watch is reduced (unfortunately) to 3 bars (30 meters). As for the indications – and as was the case in the original models of 2017 – the pieces in 34 mm renounce the central seconds hand and are driven by the GP013100 movement, governed by a quartz crystal that oscillates at 32,678 Hz.
Girard-Perregaux Laureato Summer Edition Pink 34
On this occasion, the options for the sphere are pink (precious) and turquoise (purity). I still have the nicknames of colors. As in the 38 mm case models of these Laureato Summer Edition, they are available in rubber strap and with steel bracelet. You may also like: http://dress24h.com/shoes-that-every-man-should-own/
